About Avance Care:

As one of North Carolina's largest independent primary care networks with over 35 clinics spanning the Raleigh/Durham, Charlotte, and Wilmington regions, Avance Care is on a mission to revolutionize healthcare by delivering exceptional, inclusive, and whole-person care.

We believe this transformation starts with clinicians who feel valued, rewarded, and supported, which is why we actively eliminate burnout through premium benefits, a collaborative teamwork culture, and flexible scheduling that protects your work-life balance. By integrating traditional medicine with on-site behavioral health and nutrition services, we create an affirming, non-judgmental environment where you can move away from treating patients like numbers and focus on building deep, meaningful relationships.

Why Work for Avance Care?

We know that outstanding patient care starts with happy, supported clinicians! We offer premium compensation and structure your day to guarantee a healthy professional and personal balance through:

  • True Work-Life Balance: Maximum of 40 hours per week; which includes 36 hrs/wk patient facing and built in 4 hrs/wk for admin time.
  • Onsite Collaborative Care: Work alongside an integrated team of onsite labs, primary care providers, and behavior health therapists.
  • Innovative Technology: Work with a robust EMR system and integrated telehealth tools designed to make delivering care seamless.
  • Robust Administrative Support: Centralized care coordination, care management, and population health management handle the heavy lifting, so you can focus on patients.
  • Premium Benefits: We offer a top-tier compensation package featuring high earning potential through competitive salaries with productivity bonuses, plus comprehensive medical and dental insurance, 401(k) matching, and robust paid time off and holiday benefits.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Clinical Nutrition & Patient Care:

  • Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT): Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nutrition assessments and personalized counseling for a diverse patient panel with varying medical needs.
  • Chronic Disease Management: Design targeted nutritional plans to actively manage complex chronic conditions.

Integrated Team Collaboration:

  • Interdisciplinary Care: Partner side-by-side with on-site primary care physicians, APPs, and therapists to coordinate holistic, whole-person care plans during a patient's visit.
  • Internal Referrals: Manage a seamless, built-in stream of internal patient referrals coming directly from the clinic's medical providers.

Technology & Administrative Workflow:

  • Hybrid Care Delivery: Seamlessly split clinical schedules between face-to-face in-office consultations and advanced telehealth modalities to optimize patient access.
  • Administrative Stewardship: Utilize robust Electronic Health Record (EHR) software to complete clinical charting, track patient metrics, and close care loops efficiently.

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for forward-thinking clinicians who are ready to elevate patient care alongside us. Our ideal candidate brings:

  • Education & License: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field, with an active national RD/RDN registration and current North Carolina LDN licensure, required.
  • Experience: 1 or more years of post-licensure clinical nutrition experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in integrated primary care, family practice, or collaborative healthcare settings.
  • Values: A strong alignment with our dedication to diversity, inclusion, and preventive care.
