Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Clinical Care & Patient Management:
- Psychiatric Evaluations: Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
- Medication Management: Prescribing and managing psychiatric medications, monitoring drug therapies, and tracking effectiveness and outcomes.
- Specialized Treatments: Implementing advanced clinical treatments where appropriate, which may include Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) such as buprenorphine for substance use disorders, or coordination for interventional therapies like Spravato.
- Diagnostic Interpretation: Ordering and interpreting drug screenings, lab work, and other diagnostic tests.
- Treatment Planning: Developing individualized, evidence-based, and patient-centered treatment plans while educating patients, families, and caregivers.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for forward-thinking providers who are ready to elevate patient care alongside us. Our ideal candidate brings:
- Education & License: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) or an accredited Physician Assistant program, required. Active North Carolina APRN or PA license, required. Active Board Certification (PMHNP-BC), highly preferred.
- Experience: 2 or more years of experience in outpatient psychiatric, addiction medicine, or behavioral health setting, highly preferred.
