We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant with psychiatric expertise to join our collaborative Pain Services team. This role is ideal for a provider who is passionate about treating complex patients with chronic pain, co-occurring mental health disorders, and substance use conditions.
You’ll work within a multidisciplinary environment where behavioral health and pain medicine intersect — helping patients regain stability, function, and quality of life.
What You’ll Do
As a key clinical provider, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
- Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring chronic pain conditions
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including buprenorphine
- Monitor controlled substances in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Order and interpret labs and drug screenings
- Provide patient and family education regarding mental health, pain management, and recovery
- Collaborate closely with our Behavioral Wellness team and pain specialists
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and best-practice development
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- MSN (Psychiatric Mental Health NP) or completion of an accredited PA program
- Active, unrestricted state license
- Board Certified PMHNP or PA
- Active DEA license
- Minimum 2 years of psychiatric mental health experience
Preferred Experience
- Chronic pain management
- Substance use disorder treatment
- Buprenorphine prescribing experience
- Experience in integrated or multidisciplinary settings
