We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Associate Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management to oversee the full revenue cycle operations and leads the revenue cycle team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance to drive optimal financial outcomes for the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads revenue cycle strategy and operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across the billing cycle
  • Manages and leads the revenue cycle team, maintains full accountability for team performance and development
  • Oversees accounts receivable operations and ensures adherence to AR metrics
  • Handle the full claims lifecycle including processing submission and denial management
  • Supervise patient posting and collections including payment posting, statement processing, refunds, and patient communications
  • Directs payer relationships and serves as primary escalation point for complex claims, denials, and payer disputes
  • Administer revenue cycle technology and systems, including system optimizations, clearing house relationships, and vendor partnerships
  • Develops, monitors, and reports on revenue cycle, KPIs and metrics
  • Maintains and updates operating procedures and documentation to support consistent and compliance revenue cycle operations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field or equivalent experience required, but a master’s degree (MBA or MHA), preferred

 

Plus, 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, required. Along with the ability to demonstrate experience overseeing revenue cycle operations in multi-site healthcare, required.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPIs, identify trends, and drive data informed decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple operational priorities across a complex environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across clinical, operational, and payer teams
  • Technical aptitude or proficiency in job-specific software/systems
  • CPC license, strongly preferred
