As a Medical Assistant at Avance Care, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring a positive, efficient experience for every patient.

Position Highlights:

  • Part-Time position with schedule flexability with no weekends

  • Position will support 2 psychiatric providesr, requiring a flexible and adaptable team player

Selected Responsibilities:

  • Escort patients to and from exam/treatment rooms
  • Triage patients as necessary
  • Administer vaccines and injections
  • Record patient data prior to the provider’s visit
  • Assist providers with exams and a wide variety of procedures
  • Administer medications
  • Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain proper disinfection protocols
  • Complete prior authorizations for medications and diagnostic imaging
  • Phone in prescriptions and distribute proper medications as ordered by the providers

Candidates should preferably have one of the following certifications: CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT, along with at least one year of Medical Assistant experience.
