We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team and play a key role in driving financial strategy, planning, and performance across the organization.

The Director of Finance will lead the organization’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) efforts. This individual will partner with stakeholders across departments to develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial models, while ensuring operational efficiency and revenue optimization. The ideal candidate brings deep healthcare finance experience, particularly in revenue cycle management (RCM) and payer contracting.

Selected Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

• Serve as a strategic partner to the AVP of Finance & Accounting.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning efforts.
• Own and maintain the GAAP revenue model; prepare monthly revenue journal entries.
• Develop financial models and data-driven insights to support key business decisions.
• Drive monthly analysis of service lines, KPIs, and trends to assess financial performance.
• Lead physician compensation modeling and performance tracking.
• Support implementation and development of analytical tools and dashboards.

Revenue Cycle & Payer Strategy:

• Provide insights into RCM workflows (coding, billing, collections) to assess financial risk and optimize reimbursement.
• Support payer contract negotiations through financial modeling and impact assessments.
• Monitor payer mix, reimbursement trends, and contract performance.

Accounting & Compliance:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Own and oversee GAAP revenue recognition processes in compliance with evolving regulations.
• Assist in financial close processes and external audits.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Target candidates should bring 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years leading a team role and a Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree are strongly preferred.

Other Priorities:

• Results-oriented and thrives in a deadline-driven environment, preferably PE-backed organizations
• Strong analytical skills and financial analysis skills
• Experience in NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and PowerBI preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize
