Avance Care is seeking an experienced Vendor Relationship Manager to lead and oversee vendor and service provider relationships across our organization. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless purchasing process that meets our operational needs while optimizing cost, quality, and service delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, experience negotiating vendor contracts, and a strategic mindset to support the long-term goals of the organization.

Selected Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple vendor relationships, including medical services and supplies, office supplies, non-clinical support, and third-party providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure favorable terms aligned with business needs.
  • Source new vendors, define expectations, and oversee implementation of services.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and hold vendors accountable.
  • Collaborate with purchasing managers to troubleshoot issues and manage special orders.
  • Provide monthly reports on purchasing patterns and spend analysis using data analytics tools.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and manage user access to third-party vendor platforms.
  • Communicate recommendations and decision-making insights to leadership.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration to align vendor strategies with departmental goals.

 

Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of healthcare supply chain or financial analysis experience required.

 

Other Priorities:

  • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in data analysis and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and improving processes.
  • Capability to foster partnerships and work collaboratively across teams in a professional manner.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a track record of innovation and process improvement.
  • Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
